Who are Workshops for?
The sessions are for teachers at all levels.
The ENVoY workshop series is based on Michael Grinder’s best-selling books for educators. This text is widely used in the U.S., Europe, Australia, Asia and Latin America. The seminars and books are powerful whether you are teaching in K-12 or adult education.
The principles of non-verbal management can also help parents and anyone who works with children maintain positive relationships with young people while respectfully adhering to high standards for behavior.

Cats and Dogs —Establishing and Understanding Classroom relationships
Learn to form relationships based on influence instead of power.
This course will give you a basic understanding of behavioral styles from high accommodators (i.e., dogs) to low accommodators (i.e., cats). Anyone who has ever owned a cat and a dog instinctively knows the differences between their personalities.
This program provides specific strategies for:
  1.  Reflecting on your own cat and dog tendencies
• Recognizing cat and dog-ness in others
• Increasing one’s flexibility to be genuine with dogs and intrigue the cats.
  1.  Managing classroom’s more effectively
  2.  Increasing one’s tolerance of the independent nature of the cat
Prerequisite and audience— While the program is open to anyone, it is intended for teachers who work with adolescents, kinesthetic-oriented students, at-risk pupils and talented/gifted learners.
Available for practicum credit.

A Healthy Classroom is designed to help understand the hardest management situations the teacher faces— when the teacher has to grapple with both the individual and the class at the same time.
Participants will learn how to:
  1.  accelerate the formation of the class as a group
  2.  recognize and use the leaders in the classroom
  3.  cope with the seasons of the school year
  4.  manage disruptive students
  5.  cultivate healthy humor

Train the Trainer Workshop
Our train-the-trainer program functions on an accelerated-learning model. Eight to twelve ENVoY graduates are trained. They then take turns presenting skills to up to 40 participants for a two-day program. These same trainers immediately present a second two-day program to a new set of up to 40 participants.
To provide the trainers with immediate feedback the trainees are paired with each other. These presentations are video taped and DVDs are produced for the trainers so that they can further refine their skills.

Prerequisite and audience—ENVoY program graduate.

ENVoY Coaches Training

Our coaching program is five days in length during which 12 ENVoY graduates are certified. Three host schools are involved so that the trainees can visit actual classrooms and utilize their observation skills and provide teachers with non-judgmental feedback.
